‘Insecure’ Star Yvonne Orji Goes Instagram Official And Debuts Relationship With Her Gorgeous New Man — Photos

Insecure’s own Yvonne Orji has made it no secret that she is fine with waiting for “The One”. And maybe she has finally met her soulmate! Fingers extra crossed.

The actress recently popped onto her Instagram page, where she shared a sweet snap of her looking loved up with sports star Emmanuel Acho.

Are they just friends? Some think so. But we are going to go out on a limb and guess not.

"Jesus out here answering prayers on a Sunday," she wrote.

Take a look, below:

Look how happy they are. Cuttttteee.

Proving that their relationship is indeed the real deal, Emmanuel followed suit, posting another picture from the same evening with the caption, "'[They] laugh at the days ahead' Proverbs 31:25."

One of the first to comment under Yvonne’s post was her Insecure creator/co-star and real-life best friend Issa Rae. She chimed in with, "Social media official though?!?!"

Hahaha.  But seriously, awww. How sweet.

Wonder if these two are taking it slow; she reportedly once shared that she was still holding onto her V-card.

No, but this is lovely. Congrats to the new couple. Wishing them plenty of joy, happiness and love. And fun (not that they seem to need it).

More good news! The show is coming back pretty soon. August 12th, apparently.

Issa spread the word on Twitter on May 17th, utilizing the talents of from Yvonne, Natasha Rothwell and Amanda Seales.

She asked her on-camera colleagues to answer the question their character is pelted with the most. Yvonne jokingly wondered why Molly’s life is such a mess, Amanda toyed with paternity possibilities for her character’s baby and Natasha wondered if she is like Kelly.

Issa soon jumped in, saying that she’s always asked when Insecure will be returning. And to that, they all replied, “August 12!”

Buzz around Season 3 started up when HBO explained that they were partnering with Afropunk for a music contest, giving the opportunity for newcomers to have their work debuted on the show.

So far, Insecure has won a Peabody Award, an AFI award for Best TV Program of the Year, as well as placing third last year in the African-American Film Critics Association’s Top 10 TV Shows. Plus, it has earned a plethora of nominations.
