Report: Nelly's Rape Accuser & Details Of Alleged Attack Revealed As She Sues Him For Sexual Assault and Defamation

It recently came to light that Nelly was going to be suing the woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her earlier this year, after the case was dropped over a reported technicality.

Page Six claims that Nelly believes that his reputation has taken a hit since this story hits the stands.

“Nelly has suffered very real damage to his reputation,” his attorney, Scott Rosenblum, declared.

“He has incurred economic loss and painfully has watched his family suffer. As a result, Nelly is planning to proceed with litigation as the first step in restoring his reputation. We were confident, that what our investigation revealed from the outset of this allegation would ultimately be clear and Nelly would be vindicated.”

“A thorough investigation did show Nelly was a victim of deceitful allegation devoid of credibility. Credible evidence did show this accuser to be deceptive. We have been in constant communication with the King County authorities and welcomed and appreciated the diligence in which the authorities proceeded. Leaving no stone unturned.”

“Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation. Our initial investigation clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness,” Scott told TMZ a while back.

Well, now she is going to be suing HIM, it seems. For sexual assault and defamation.

Yeah, the public’s response was pretty nasty. Even Wendy Williams’ comments on the case were iffy at best.

Monique Greene says she worked as a host at the Seattle club where Nelly performed on October 6th, though she was not on the clock that night. She claims that, after the show, she hung out with Nelly and his crew for a bit, before being invited to an after-party.

Court documents allege that she then stepped into an SUV with the rapper, which drove them to his tour bus. She insists that she ended up walking back the end of the bus, where Nelly’s bedroom is located. After she sat down on the bed, he may have started masturbating.

According to the suit, he then had sex with her, both orally and vaginally, against her will; she has stated that she tried to dissuade him by saying he needed to wear a condom, but he supposedly refused and continued on. Monique then says that she screamed that she wanted to leave. A member of Nelly’s entourage pushed her off before Nelly threw a $100 bill at her.

After he was arrested, Monique feels that Nelly and his team began to work on a smear campaign against her, painting her as someone that was simply chasing "money, fame and notoriety."

(Scott Rosenblum has since responded to this development, dishing to TMZ, "It comes as no surprise that Ms. Green filed a lawsuit against Nelly seeking money after we announced our intention to hold her accountable. We always believed her accusation was motivated by greed.")
