Tisha Campbell Martin's Divorce From Duane Martin Is Getting Ugly After Allegations In New Court Documents

It was all good just a few months ago…

In Febrary after Tisha Campbell Martin announced her divorce from Duane Martin after 27 years together, she said “we are family forever” regardless of the split.

Welp, things aren’t as friendly any more  as it seemed.

Tisha has just filed new documents in their divorce, accusing her estranged husband of hiding money while they were married.

The former "Martin" star wants to get her hands on the alleged hidden stash of cash.

Tisha filed for divorce from Duane back in February, requesting spousal support and child support. The actress also requested joint physical and legal custody of their two sons.

Campbell Martin has now filed legal documents alleging the comedian hid and misused funds during the time they were together.

In the court documents, the actress states that her estranged husband "was hiding and misappropriating money."

The documents do not reveal how much money she believes Duane stashed away without her knowledge, but her lawyers suggest it is a substantial amount.

The actress wants the judge to penalize him for hiding money and also wants to deny him spousal support.

Campbell filed for divorce from Martin in February 2018, taking to social media to announce their split.

She wrote, "It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family."

Tisha and Duane were together for 27 years, but tied the knot in 1996. They have two sons together, 16-year-old Xen and eight-year-old Ezekiel.

The couple filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2016, after finding themselves over $15 million in debt.

Tisha and Duane's assets included $65,000 in real estate, $248,000 in personal property (totaling  $313,000 in assets). They owed over $15,145,387 in liabilities to creditors.

After the bankruptcy case was settled, Martin was accused of improperly diverting the residual income that was supposed to pay their debt, adding up to $50,000.

Since announcing their divorce, Campbell appeared on FOX’s hit show "Empire," while Martin starred in "The New Edition Story."
