Tiffany Haddish Addresses Reported Beef With 'The Last O.G.' Co-Star Tracy Morgan — Video

Tiffany Haddish, who stars in the TBS series "The Last O.G." with Tracy Morgan, has responded to her co-star's alleged diss.

"The Last O.G." follows Morgan's character, Tray, who is returning to his life in Brooklyn after being behind bars for 15 years. He returns home to discover his girlfriend, Shay (Tiffany Haddish) had moved on with a white guy. Tray becomes determined to win his ex back, especially when he finds out he's the father to her 15-year-old twins.

Haddish's career blew up in a major way just before "The Last O.G." was gearing up to start production.

Tiffany's film, "Girl's Trip" had just hit theaters and her talk show appearances and interviews went viral.

Tracy was asked about Tiffany's career blowing up suddenly during an interview at the Vulture festival. Some believed he was throwing shade at his co-star.

Morgan didn't want to discuss Haddish's newfound fame.

He told the interviewers, "Tiffany is not the only one.. this is not Tiffany Haddish... This is Tracy Morgan... This is The Last O.G... If you're going to ask about Tiffany... ask that about Cedric... ask that about craft services... everybody that comes to work on that show... we're not going to go there."

Tracy was apparently trying to point out that he didn't just want to shine a light on Tiffany when many others contributed to the show. However, he went on to state that he "loves" Tiffany and considers all of the actors on his show to be a family.

Haddish's former "Carmichael" co-star, Lil Rel Howery, obviously found Morgan's comments in the interview insulting. He tweeted a link to a snippet from the interview.

Rel wrote in the caption, "Don't bite the hand that keeps you relevant!"

Tiffany tried to have her friend remove his post, but claims he refused.

The "Girls Trip" star shut down any beef, saying, "You guys, chill. He’s probably just tired of hearing my name. It’s exhausting. I’m tired of hearing my name. I could see how that could be irritating, like, ‘Hello, I died, people. I’m back from the dead. Tiffany’s cool, but it’s me sitting here now.’ So, I get it, I’m not mad about it, I love me some Tracy."

Haddish and Morgan also reportedly bumped heads on the set of the TBS series when he remarked on her appearance on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show."

She later shared, "When the Jimmy Kimmel thing came out he’s like, ‘I saw you on Jimmy Kimmel, you was nervous as [expletive], huh?'" she recalled. "I’m like, ‘No.’ ‘Haddish, come on I could see it in your eyes, you were scared.’ … But you don’t argue with Tracy, you just say, ‘OK, yeah, you’re right.'"

The two strong personalities may clash, but obviously have love and respect for one another.

Haddish recently discussed working with Morgan, saying, "You’re able to give more input on how you feel about the character, what you think this should be, or that should be and your point of view is respected. It may not be what we do, but it’s respected."

Haddish and Morgan will reunite with the rest of the cast this summer to film season two of the comedy.
