T.I. Responds To Steve Harvey's Call To Respect President Donald Trump [PHOTO]
Steve Harvey spoke out about the need to respect the president, following Snoop Dogg’s “Lavender” music video and Bow Wow's tweet about "pimping" out first lady Melania Trump. Harvey's comments got back to rapper T.I., who clapped back on social media.
Harvey called out Snoop, Bow Wow, and T.I. when he stated that the black community needs to respect the presidential office.
The television personality stated, "The problem with all this is that there is an office in this country called the ‘president,’ and you have to respect the office. You really do. Whether you want to or not. You have to respect the office. They got laws."
He continued, “I love Snoop. Bow Wow, always respectful and cordial with one another, me and T.I. I don’t have no problem with T.I. I love the dude. I’m just saying brothers be smart. You gotta be smart man.” Adding, “All y’all talking got money. You got money, man. You got money and they know how to go after that money. Just be smart, let me tell ya man, leave the first lady out of this. Y’all going down another path with these cats now. You start messing with they wives… I’ll tell y’all you going down another path.”
Harvey's comments were posted on Baller Alert's Instagram account and rapper T.I. couldn't help but weigh in on his statements. Tip let it be known he doesn't respect Trump. He wrote in the comments section, “We respect those who respect US. We respect those who respect themselves."
The rapper also sent a little warning to Harvey, suggesting the television host may be brainwashed. Tip adds, “Emergency msg to u my brother… #GETOUT,” he wrote, referencing Jordan Peele’s hit horror flick.
Back in January, T.I. called out Harvey and Kanye West for meeting with Trump. Tip took aim at the men and claimed Trump was using them as "pawns" to promote his agenda.
