Stevie J Tells His Kids He’s Facing Jail-Time For A 20-Year-Old Child Support Case In A ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Sneak Peek — Video

He has been dealing with the same child support case since 1998 for Stevie Jr. and Savannah. Yup. Nearly two decades.

“At this point, there’s a judgment against me for $1.3 million,” Stevie states in the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta sneak peek clip.

In his opinion, “that’s beyond excessive.”

Stevie gathered all of his close friends and family together for a get-together but Mimi soon realizes this might actually be Stevie’s “going away party.” He’s facing jail time.

“Time is precious and now he’s being taken away from us,” Savannah tearfully says in disbelief. “It’s not fair but the court is going to do what they’re going to do.”

What do you think?

Although most child support cases are handled by the state they reside in, his case is a federal matter.

He initially pled guilty to not paying his child support payments last February. However, the judge ordered the music producer/reality star to come up with at least half of the $1,304,835.86 he owes in back child support.

Stevie has also failed several of his mandatory drug tests.

Back in March, Stevie claimed he was being extorted.

In a TMZ video, Stevie stated: "I think I have a pretty great grasp on it. I have great attorneys. We got a hold on it. You know? It’s just a little blown out of proportion but we’re gonna handle it."

"One thing for sure you can say about me is that I’m always around my kids, I’m always doing great things for my kids. My kids are on two shows on VH1, and one’s in question. They’re getting great checks from Viacom, two different shows."

It's no greater feeling than to receive love & give love to my children. We had to struggle for ours even though we put in that work. The Jordan name will forever ring bells all over the world & it is already written. #TheJordans #ProudFather #LeaveItToStevieSeason2

"They live with me and I’m there all the time. One of them is a great basketball player at Rider University and the other one is just a spoiled singer-slash-television star. I love my children with all my heart and I have no problem with taking care of my kids but I have a problem with trying to be extorted... but we’ll handle it."

Stevie previously tweeted, "If they don’t have a story now they’ll make one. All these handouts gettin outta hand" and "No weapon formed against me shall prosper. God prevails over all."

What a mess.
