Report: Both Of R. Kelly’s Atlanta Homes Were Burglarized By Men Posing As The Moving Company

Can we chalk this one up to karma?

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, R. Kelly‘s Atlanta homes were burglarized while he was on tour in New Orleans. At least that is what police say.

Stolen items include furniture, electronic equipment and other property.

Good news for R. Kelly though. A detective caught three men leaving the home in a get-away van. When brought in for questions, the trio of suspects told officers they were hired by one of Kelly’s associates.

The friends you keep, eh?

The pal is supposedly a man named Alfonso Walker, who told the suspects to sell everything because “Kelly was moving his entire operation to Chicago”.

Boy, we wonder why that is.

However, Kelly’s team told officers Walker was just a part-time employee. Sources say police received a search warrant for Walker’s home and discovered some of Kelly’s property in it.

TMZ reported that he gave cops three different stories about how Kelly’s gear ended up in his house. Walker told cops he would turn himself in Tuesday, but never showed up. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Wow.

We just hope that R. Kelly doesn’t take this out on the members of his maybe-sex-cult. Ugh.

Earlier this year, Buzzfeed published an expose that alleged that the musical star was keeping young women in a cult-like atmosphere.

He may have housed the women in multiple homes, keeping them away from family and friends while living under strict rules, including being required to ask for permission to eat and use the bathroom. Many of them are/were over the age of consent in most states, meaning that there wasn’t too much that could be done to remove them from the situation, legally.
“Mr Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him,” his attorney Linda Mensch previously stated. “Mr Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

A petition circulating a while ago stated, “R&B singer R. Kelly has preyed on teenage girls for the past 25 years […] In 1994, R. Kelly illegally married 15-year-old Aaliyah, and in 2002, he was indicted on 14 counts of child pornography. He was acquitted six years later because neither the alleged victim nor her parents were willing to testify, but more than 40 others took the stand to confirm that the girl in the video was the 14-year-old girl.”

Keeping it R. Kelly-y, the 50-year-old R&B singer seems to have thrown a party for his rumored girlfriend a few months ago. She is apparently 22-years-old. Um.

Good Morning, World! #MorningsWithKellz
