WATCH: Queen Latifah Has Some Words For Nicki Minaj And Cardi B That Deserve A Standing Ovation — Video

You saw the news: Nicki Minaj and Cardi B‘s issues with each other finally boiled over during New York Fashion Week and it wasn’t pretty.

Ever since that altercation, everybody and their momma have an opinion to share about it.

Hip Hop Troll 50 Cent says he’s grabbing his popcorn and watching with everyone else while Vivica A. Fox thinks Cardi’s role in the altercation was justified in the moment.

The latter stated "I just believe that Nicki knows how to push people's buttons, and she does it very passive aggressively," during an interview on Sway In The Morning.

Kelly Rowland (who continues to be amazing) is playing neutral ground and argues that it’s not the right time for women to be fighting each other in the midst of the fight for equality.

“I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality—I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think that they are extremely talented—and in a time when she is fighting for women’s equality, we just can’t be fighting,” Kelly told E! News.

“It’s no time for us as women to fight and they are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. It’s not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t [expletive] know,” she concluded.

People on the internet even think that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has subtly weighed in on who side she’s picking.

Well now, rap legend Queen Latifah is chiming in.

The hosts of Live with Kelly and Ryan were eager to know what the “U.N.I.T.Y.” rapper thought about how Cardi & Nicki should handle themselves after the NYFW debacle.

As a femcee known for championing women empowerment and solidarity, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Queen Latifah isn’t here for the Barbie vs Bardi fade.

Kelly Rip suggested that Queen Latifah should step in and help them settle the beef by putting together a collaborative album.

"Don't you think that these two women should collaborate on an album and have the number 1 album, for like, 3 years in a row? Don't you think that should happen? [...] Could you, Queen Latifah, show them the way?"

“I think that would be amazing,” Queen Latifah said. "I'm up for a real 'brouhaha' and a 'dustup,' but not for these ladies. I have a lot of respect for female rappers. We are such a powerful minority. And I say powerful in the sense that if you hear a female rapper's record come through on the radio, you hear that record, you know that record, you memorize that record. We just stand out [...] I'd really rather see 'em shoot the fair one on a record and take everybody out."

Queen Latifah would even be down to produce a collaborative project between the rivals.

"I could produce it, wrap it, executive produce it. 'We Are The World' situation."

Listen to Queen’s thoughts on the rivalry below:

Surely Cardi & Nicki can’t pass up on a chance to work with the Queen Latifah, right?
