We KNEW it! Omarion addresses the GAY rumors and CONFIRMS…

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Omarion (who was born Omari Ishmael Grandberry) wants to set the record straight on why he never appeared in scenes with Milan Christopher and his boyfriend Miles Brock. In August, Christopher said a few of his VH1 cast members refused to film with him and his partner because of their sexual orientation.

However, Omarion said on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” that he doesn’t get to pick and choose who he films with on the show.

“I have no problems, no issues with gay people,” Omarion said. “To be completely honest with you, when you say anything, when we talking about that community, they coming for you. I’m not being politically correct because I’m a man and I stand by what I say, how I feel, but to completely honest I’ve never met [Christopher].”

The 30-year-old former B2K singer went on to say that the opportunity to film with the music producer and his rapper boyfriend was never presented to him.

“That is more of a VH1 thing,” Omarion explained. “They put us in the position to film with people. We don’t have a choice in that.”

In August, TMZ reported that certain co-stars didn’t want to be in scenes with Christopher and Brock not because of their sexual orientation but because they didn’t have credibility in the music industry. The site also reported that a few cast members felt VH1 hired the two men only because it wanted to boost the show’s ratings.

After the Oct. 19 episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” when Brock came out as gay to his family and ex-girlfriend Amber Hunter, VH1 aired a special titled “LHH: Out In Hip Hop.” During the show, Brock and Christopher discussed the challenges of being gay in the hip-hop industry.
