T'yanna Wallace Honors Late Father “The Notorious B.I.G.” With Notoriouss Boutique — Photos

T'yanna Wallace lost her famous father, Christopher Wallace (AKA Biggie Smalls), 20 years ago, but she is determined to keep his memory alive with her clothing boutique in honor of her late father.

Biggie died at the age of 24-years-old, leaving behind two children, son C. J. Wallace and daughter T'yanna. His daughter opened her clothing store, Notoriouss, earlier this month. Her clothing line pays tribute to her father's legacy.

T'yanna opened up her first clothing store on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn on Dec. 2. The boutique features her clothing line and is filled with Biggie paraphernalia.

The store's grand opening featured appearances by Lil Cease, Dj Enuff, Jadakiss, and Dj Mr. Cee.

"Notorious is a flagship store for street wear and is heavily inspired by New York and Brooklyn hip hop culture," Tyanna told channel 12 news.

She continued, "I just feel like when you listen to his music, you know he’s from Brooklyn... I don’t really hear a lot of people coming to Brooklyn and not thinking about Biggie."

"Y'all think SMALL, I think BIGGIE"👑🏀
The boutique opened earlier this month, but T'yanna has been hard at work on the clothing line for four years. She previously started out with an online store while attending Penn State University.

T'yanna explained her name choice for her clothing boutique, revealing it wasn't an easy decision. She finally chose Notoriouss (taken from her dad’s stage name), with the extra "s" to add her own touch to the line.

"I went through six to eight different names and at the end of the day, it’s not a big line. It’s my clothing line that was inspired by my dad so it didn’t start off as Notoriouss," T'yanna explained.

She continued, "But, it was just something about the word that made it so strong and dominant. I just want to give people something that they can wear confidently. They can feel like it’s their world and they are the center of attention. I added the extra “s” to separate myself from my dad but still make it about him."

She adds, "It was important for me to carry on my father’s legacy and goals because he left me with so many shoes to fill. My brother and I want to keep the name strong, alive, and positive. We want to keep that positive vibe because everyone still loves Biggie."
