Man Suspected Of Burglarizing R. Kelly's Homes Arrested + Claims To Have Been “Set Up” — Mugshot

You know we loathe R.Kelly, right?

The man is nuts. And a reported sexual predator and abuser.

We signed the hell out of that petition way back when, okay?

So, we kind of always root against him. But even we have to admit that the man that allegedly had a hand in the recent burglaries of R. Kelly’s homes (Alfonso Walker) sounds like he is a few nickels short of a dollar.

He was arrested on December 5th, after claiming to be “set up” and refusing to turn himself in. He has since been put behind bars again, after a short evasion of custody.

Captain Christopher Byers of the Johns Creek Police Department, revealed that neighbors noticed vehicles in front of Kelly’s homes but didn’t find it suspicious because “the robbers were doing it in broad daylight and not acting like typical robbers.”

Okay…

A detective seems to have caught three men leaving the home in a get-away van. The trio later told officers that they had been hired by Walker.
Walker is a former associate of Kelly’s who used to do “odds and ends jobs” for the singer. When asked why he stole from his friend, he offered up several stories.

“The first statement to investigators was that Mr. Kelly owed him money,” Byers explained. “He said things as ‘I’m being set up.’”
Tuesday....let’s do this!
Some of the stolen items (furniture, electronic equipment and other property were initially snatched) have been returned. There is still no official dollar count estimate of how much was taken.

R. Kelly shared proof of the damage the other day actually.
...Still encouraged. Still blessed.
Earlier this year, the crooner was in the center of another controversy.

BuzzFeed published an exposé, accusing R. Kelly of keeping young women in a cult-like atmosphere. They reportedly just adhere to a bizarre list of “rules”, like asking for permission to eat and use the bathroom.

Not much can be done legally though, as it seems that the maybe-victims are technically over the age of consent.

His representative previously stated, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name."
