Read: LaTavia Roberson Pops All The Way Off On Destiny’s Child Fans In Fiery Rant

What's that, now?

Former Destiny's Child singer LaTavia Roberson addressed a longstanding misconception about her.

After her ex-group member's Beyoncé's historic Vogue magazine cover was released, LaTavia did her best to set the record straight about rumors that have been plaguing her for some time now.

She asked, "How come I'm always attacked if I like or comment on a post featuring Beyoncé, Kelly Toya or Michelle? I'm looking at social just like the rest of 🌍. If I like I'm going to double tap or cmment whichever one is best!"

LaTavia then went on to touch upon other not-so-nice whispers, writing, "Stop painting this picture of me as the bitter one!!!"

This is the second time this year LaTavia has addressed the popular misconception that surrounds her peace.

Back in May, she took to social media to express how proud she was of her once-colleagues, despite the public's attempts to portray her as anything but. "“Ppl call me the bitter one but how can I be bitter when I’m so proud of everyone in this picture... We created a legacy that can’t be touched. ALL 4 of us. We have a bond that no one can understand. I can’t compare my chapter 36 to Kelly’s chapter 36 or Beyoncé or LeToya’s so why does the world compare us?"

This is from a shoot in London. Ppl call me the bitter one but how can I be bitter when I’m so proud of everyone in this picture. We created a legacy that can’t be touched. ALL 4 of us. We have a bond that no one can understand. I can’t compare my chapter 36 to Kelly’s chapter 36 or Beyoncé or LeToya’s so why does the world compare us? So no I’ve never been bitter these are my sisters!!!! Keep winning @beyonce @kellyrowland @letoyaluckett & even @michellewilliams no #tbt just a treat for the fans that’s been down since day 1 💋💋💋 #sisters
Good point.

Long ago, she opened up about the downsides of finding fame so young (and saying goodbye to the girl group).

LaTavia was part of the original line-up of Destiny's Child, alongside Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and LeToya Luckett. Their second album The Writings on the Wall in 1999 included hits like, "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Say My Name".

LaTavia and LaToya were dismissed from the group in 2000, after they attempted to cut ties with the band's manager (Mathew Knowles).  The ladies found out they had been dumped when the music video for "Say My Name" was released...it featured new members Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.

Cold.

Before the STORM 😘✨ thanks you @missericamor for the invite 💋💋💋💋💋

"I never left Destiny's Child. That is something that people say. But who would leave Destiny's Child? That's crazy! I was dismissed from the group. It was very difficult because of the way that I found out about it. I hate even talking about it, and it's been 20 years - but it is what it is," LaTavia previously told People.

Farrah bowed out just months later, leaving Bey, Kelly and Michelle to continue on as a trio. They went on to become a very successful musical powerhouse, later disbanding in 2006.

"It was very difficult," LaTavia admitted. "I'm pretty sure that it was difficult for all of us - because we were young. My issue was always with the management; it was never with the girls."

"Everybody has their lives, but I know as far as me being an original member with the girls that I started with, I support all of their careers, and their music's been guiding me through a lot. It's been wonderful."

She still got it 😂😂😂

"I believe that nothing in life has happened in vain," she had then concluded. "I believe that things happen for a reason, and there's nothing but love on my end."

See? She really isn't sour about it! Leave her alone.
