Keshia Knight-Pulliam Starts Rap Career, Drags Baby Daddy Ed Hartwell In New Song On The Gram — Video

Keshia Knight-Pulliam is trying to prove that she isn’t just an actress. And now she is rapping? Lyrical targets include her ex-husband Ed Hartwell.

Her brother Kofa released a track called “Heat Rises 2”. Keshia lent her talents to the effort and threw an insult at the father of her child. (Their backstory is really and truly bonkers, by the way. We mean it. Not that their dynamic is better now, though.)

“My baby daddy hit the switch up, I knew I should’ve got a prenup,” she spit.

Donald Trump gets some heat too; Keshia appeared on Celebrity Apprentice a few years back.

“38 Years aint’ enough,” she continues. “I’ve been doing this longer than Donald Trump’s hair’s been messed up.”

Hahaha. Okay, that one is kind of funny.

See all of what she had to say below.

"My baby daddy hit the switch up, I knew I should've got a #prenup" ... Got bars? #KeshiaKnightPulliam takes low key aim at ex husband #EdHartwell

Long ago, Ed opened up about their relationship, saying, "She wanted a baby really fast, and what I was trying to explain to her ......since we didn’t have a long courtship, that we should actually focus on each other and not just have a baby."

Uh. Correct. Not even going to point out that he didn’t believe it was his kid for a while.

Keshia actually announced their wedding on her podcast, stating, "It was my dream. We did it literally in our living room in our home. We come from large family. I'm one of four, Ed is one of six. We invited people. They had no clue they were coming to a wedding. They thought they were coming to a New Year's party."

“I was a little more reserved, a little more quiet but still myself [with this relationship]. I allowed him to show me who he was through his actions. There were so many times he would say things verbatim what I prayed for. He would speak and his priorities and the things he valued were completely in alignment with who I am…and that's when I knew it was real."

And then things took a turn somehow.

Keshia and Ed called it quits after just seven months of marriage. The former child star reportedly didn't even inform her ex when she gave birth to their Ella Grace. Yikes.

So, are you embracing this career move or are you cringing in horror? Many are cracking jokes that her Cosby Show checks must be getting lost in the mail or something. But she reportedly owed the state of Georgia around $102,000 in tax money at one point, so who knows?

To be honest, we’re guessing that she is just trying to help a family member out, which is actually kind of nice.
