Kelly Rowland Speaks Out About Witnessing the Cardi B Vs. Nicki Minaj NYFW Scuffle — Video

Kelly Rowland continues to be amazing

In the midst of the commotion between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party at New York Fashion Week, a few star witnesses are finally speaking up about what happened.

Including Kelly, of course!

“I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality—I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think that they are extremely talented—and in a time when she is fighting for women’s equality, we just can’t be fighting,” Kelly told E! News.

(Obviously, Kelly is making a reference to Serena’s US Open loss where she was fined for speaking out after a referee accused her of overreacting and cheating; Serena brought up instances where men had similarly passionate responses, but were able to walk away from the net unscathed. Kelly had attended the sports event with LaLa Anthony and Venus.)

“It’s no time for us as women to fight and they are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. It’s not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t [expletive] know,” she concluded.

But Cardi and Nicki aren’t likely to bury the hatchet anytime soon.

In fact, Nicki took plenty of time to talk about Cardi B during an episode of Queen Radio the other day.

“The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon… people who have their life together,” she claimed. “The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion. I was mortified.”

“I was in a Gaultier gown—off the [expletive] runway—and I could not believe how [humiliating] it all felt because we… made ourselves look—and Imma get back, but before I go, I wanna say that I would never discuss anyone’s child,” Nicki continued, doubling back around to rumors that Cardi only flew off the handle because Nicki brought Kulture into it.

“I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown,” Nicki noted. “I just want everybody to marinate for two minutes…. But we did hear this woman say that nothing’s off limits… because she has built her career off of sympathy and payola.”

After the NYFW altercation, Cardi B posted a lengthy message, calling out her long-time rumored rival and even hints as to why the fight even happened.

Cardi has allegedly insisted that she feels no remorse and if she were presented with the opportunity to scrap again, she would, TMZ says.

Do you think Kelly’s take is dead-on? Or is there more in the mix than meets the eye?
