Here's Why You Won't Hear A Drake Response To The Savage "Story of Adidon" Diss Track From Pusha T

Where is Drizzy’s response tho?

Drake's fans have been waiting on pins and needles to find out if the Canadian rapper will respond to Pusha-T's diss track, "The Story of Adidon." However, J. Prince has revealed that he advised Drizzy not to be involved in the "pig pen mentality."

Pusha T's savage track brought up rumors of Drake's alleged secret son with a former porn star, also outing the former actor for blackface photos.

Many fans were hoping Drake would release a new track that demolishes Pusha, but Prince thinks the "Hotline Bling" rapper should take the high road.

The Rap-A-Lot Records founder was promoting his upcoming book, "The Art and Science of Respect", when he addressed the rap beef between the two men.

Prince spoke to DTLR Radio on Saturday, revealing he spoke to Drake and gave him some advice.

Prince explained his feelings on the situation, telling Fadam Got da Juice and DJ Reddz, "A man to attack a man's mother, father, a man who's dying -- I feel that's disrespectful. If you wanna leave it on a level playing field -- I get at you, you get at me, then bring it on, let the best man win. Imagine we got into a fight and I go whip your momma [expletive], I hit your daddy in the jaw... I call it a pigpen mentality."

Prince explained he feels certain things are off limits in rap beefs and wants Drake to leave it alone.

"I spoke with Drake," Prince said. "I made an OG call to Drake this morning, telling him, 'I don't want you to respond to this. We're going to put this to bed.'"

Prince adds, "We're going to put this to bed because we can't get into the pigpen with pigs. Because pigs turn into hogs and hogs get slaughtered."

"That's not [Drake's] character," Prince continued. "We didn't work this hard to cheat ourselves over nothing. So that's the way that is."

In another radio interview with WPGC 95.5 on Friday, Prince continued to blast Pusha's "disrespectful" track.

"If I had to explain how I feel about it, you know this guy … is being disrespectful," Prince stated. "It’s hard for me not to say he’s being disrespectful. because the way I view it was, he and Drake … it’s one thing for me and you to be in a situation, it’s another for you to take it out on my mama, or my daddy. So, I have a problem."

Prince has a longtime relationship with Drake and feels he is family. His son, Jas Prince, is credited for discovering Drake on MySpace, before introducing him to Lil Wayne and the rest of Cash Money Records.

Drake referenced their tight relationship on his track, "Big Amount", with 2 Chainz in 2017. He rapped, "I’m a J Prince investment."

Fans weighed in on Prince's remarks on Drake's feud with Pusha:

One follower wrote, "I have respect for @jprincerespect but you are wrong on this drake pusha t beef. Drake mentioned his fiancé so gloves are off. To call pusha a pig is disrespectful also. Thia is between two grown [expletive] men. Pusha didn't have anyone speaking for him so the fact you are speaking for drake is weak sir."

Does Drake have to respond, or should he cut his losses and move on?
