Gizelle Bryant Calls Out ‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Co-Star Monique Samuels

The current season of “Real Housewives of Potomac” gets sloppier and sloppier by the second. And Monique Samuels is smack dab in the middle of the drama, it seems.

As per usual, Gizelle Bryant is there for Robyn Dixon and she didn’t waste words about Robyn’s blowup with Monique. (On the latest episode of RHOP, Monique and Robyn’s war of words almost turned physical.)

Tensions rose when Monique dared Robyn to get in her face…which Robyn did. Monique then threatened to choke Robyn out with her umbrella. Which is pretty creative, at least?

Karen Huger accused Robyn and Gizelle of bullying Monique.

"I spoke to Monique briefly after the clash and encouraged her to never let the ladies push her buttons or take her to a negative place. […] While it pains me to watch Monique so upset, it’s understandable that she would have a breaking point. The constant attacks and bickering has gone on far too long. Monique does not deserve this."

But Gizelle thinks Monique initiated the blowup with Robyn and deserved the heat.

She said as much in her Bravo blog.

Upon be asked “about the rest of this clash on the street” and how she was feeling when it ended, she replied, “This was the funniest non-fight that I have ever seen. Monique Samuels invited Robyn Dixon to say something in her face and Robyn graciously accepted. Monique clearly wasn’t ready, so she reverted to what she always does best, insults and talking about money.”

She was then questioned about why Monique broke down after that tiff, in regards to thinking she had met real friends.

“In order to be a friend you have to show yourself as friendly. I really think those tears had more to do with the fact that she was embarrassed. She got into an altercation that she started and invited Robyn to participate in. Truth be told I was hurt, too, I got kicked out of ANOTHER party.”

A few weeks back, Monique reportedly threatened to quit the show, back when she was labeled an alcoholic by some of the ladies.

She once told Andy Cohen why she believed her cast-mates were so “concerned” about her life choices.

"They’re on anything I do. Like, they’re obsessed,” she claimed, before denying that she has a drinking problem.

Do you think Monique came looking for trouble or is she being treated unfairly by her on-camera peers?
