You’ll Never Guess Gabrielle Union And Dwyane Wade’s Newborn Daughter’s Name — Photos

Actress Gabrielle Union and her NBA Baller husband Dwyane Wade are still adoring over their newborn daughter, who was introduced to the world last week via a surrogate.

The married couple of 4 years has now decided to share the name of their daughter and its origin.

In a newer post on Instagram, the Miami Heat star revealed a throwback photo of a new tattoo he got for his daughter while in China.

He captioned it: "#TBT Goes back to that one night in China when I decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me. Kaavia James Union Wade! #paternityleave"

A follower then asked why parents chose to give baby Kaavia the middle name of Jame, Gabrielle hopped into and answered!

She wrote: "Great question. We wanted my family represented in her name. My godfather is my Uncle James Glass.  She is named after him.. and then Union… thats.. ya know.. me."

In case you missed it, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade welcomed their first child together into the world via surrogate on Wednesday, November 7th.

It didn’t take long for the married duo to start spreading the good news (and adorable pictures) on social media. Can you blame them? So wonderful!

In addition to family and friends anticipating the imminent delivery of the celebrity couple’s bundle of joy, fans may have figured out what was going on when it was announced that Dwyane would be missing his first game of the season, just prior to the Miami Heat’s match-up against the San Antonio Spurs.

Good move, as it seems to have allowed him to be present for the birth of his fourth child.

Gabrielle shared news of the new baby on social media with a collage of photos that showed her and her hubby huddled over the child. Superimposed over the collection of images were the lyrics to Bill Withers hit song, “Lovely Day.”

“A LOVELY DAY 👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾 We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!,” Union also penned on Instagram.

🎵 When I wake up in the mornin' love And the sunlight hurts my eyes And there's something without warning, love Bears heavy on my mind Then I look at you And the world's alright with me Just one look at you And I know its gonna be A lovely day A lovely day 🎶 A LOVELY DAY 👶🏾👶🏾👶🏾 We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. A few days later, the 46-year-old actress shared the first photos of her daughter’s face and added that she has not been able to sleep, shower or brush her teeth in the past few days.

#CHYTEA☕️: “The Wade’s” are in love with their #BabyGirl , she’s going to be so chocolate and yummy! Aww I’m so happy for them 😍🎀 ••• ••• #Radiopersonality ‪#Bloggers #MediaBlogger #blackmedia #BloggerHive #CHYTEA #Upcoming #BlackGirlMagic #BlackBoyJoy #GirlBoss #BlackBloggers‬ #instagood #photooftheday #instadaily #instapic #gabrielleunion #dwyanewade #surrogacy #momlife #newmom #nba #actress #scorpio #scorpioseason #birthdaygirl

As you can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about Gabrielle’s “Lack of showers”:

One follower wrote: “I love them wades BUT they doing the most. This feeling she describes usually comes with the woman, period, the pain from possibly C-section or being stitched, or still coming down from all the anesthesia plus having to nurse the baby. Not having a baby come home to you. The most you’re losing is sleep. 😒 (ya’ll don’t come for me. Lol this is just facts ok) lol but congrats to them chile.”

A second person shared: “I can see she’s got Gabrielle’s cheeks. I’m still so happy for them! But we need sis to shower so the baby can be comfy and get used to her smell. It’s alot for a baby going from the mother who carried her, feeding her, breathing for her, and living for her, to the Fan who is her mum as well. I wish them all happiness and a lifetime of.”

This mother added her two cents: “Some of y’all talking like y’all have kids 😂 I have two and both two different experiences. I had no pain after with both, and my last one was harder I couldn’t get anything done. She cried constantly; I believe she’s tired, She’s taking care of a baby for 24/7 it has nothing to do with her not giving birth to the baby the babies are hard work regardless. Of course, she’s exhausted, regardless of having a surrogate. She has to take care of her baby it’s alot of work it’s called motherhood.”

There’s nothing more attractive than a man showing love for his wife and family. We see you #Dwade. 🙌🏽👶🏽💕 #gabrielleunion #babywade #dwaynewade #mommyduties #daddyduties #daddysgirls

Another commenter said: “In the black community, this is kinda rare. For one it costs and for two it costs. So instead of being happy she was able to give life rather she carried it or not is a blessing and the person who carried the baby for them was a blessing. Let her have her moment. Y’all ruin everything.”

As you may know, while Gabrielle Union has had fertility issues and unable to have a baby, Wade has four other children — all boys. Two of his sons are from his marriage with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches as he’s also adopted his nephew as well.  From oldest to younges,t they are 16-year-old Zaire Blessing Dwyane, 11-year-old Zion Malachi Airamis and 5-year-old Xavier Zechariah.
