Eve Shares Story Of How Janet Jackson Saved Her After Being Drugged At Party — Watch

Janet Jackson once helped Eve out of a very sticky—and, uhhh, snot-filled—mess.

And thank goodness, because the world is a really crazy place sometimes!

The rapper told the whole story, beside her The Talk co-hosts recently.

She apparently made the mistake of leaving her drink unattended and ended up feeling “crazy and not drunk.”

Eve tried to explain what was going on to the friend with whom she attended the party with…only to be met with that individual’s insistence that she’d probably just had a little too much alcohol; she was told to calm down.

Understandably, this kicked off a hysterical crying episode from Eve, who knew that something was off.

“And I hear this really soft voice that’s like, ‘It’s OK, it’s OK, I’ll take care of it,’” she recalled. “And I’m like snot-crying y’all, and I turn around and it’s Janet Jackson.”

Janet began consoling her. But Eva was embarrassed to be meeting Janet for the first-time ever under such uncomfortable conditions. But there was no need for her to be worried.

You can watch a clip from the segment in the video below.

And they have been fast friends ever since. Aw.

Hope that beverage-drugger got what was coming to them though!

Speaking of sleazy music industry moves, Ashanti recently shared a creepy (and sincerely upsetting) #MeToo story.

She detailed the scenario on SiriusXM’s “Conversations with Maria Menounos,”

“I’ve come across a situation where there was a certain producer that, you know, he had his little crush or whatever, but it wasn’t anything new, you know?” she noted. “And once I said ‘no,’ all of a sudden the track became $45K.”

“It’s funny because he said something like, ‘Well just take a shower with me and let me do this.'”
Before long, one of her “big brothers” confronted the producer over this gross ploy.

“The way that apology came in, I actually got three records for free!” she shared. “And I got two of them mixed and mastered for free also.”
However, Ashanti knows that not everyone has someone who is willing to go to bat for them in their corner.

“I’m blessed because I have that.”
