The Truth Is Revealed Why Eva Marcille Went All Out To Defend Russell Simmons Against His Sexual Assault Allegations

It all makes so much sense now...

Former "America's Next Top  Model" winner Eva Marcille previously weighed in with her thoughts on the multiple sex assault claims against Russell Simmons. Marcille apparently doesn't believe the women that have come forward with claims against Simmons!

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” newbie, who recently announced she is expecting a baby boy, obviously ruffle a few feathers with her remarks.

Eva posted writing, "Allegations and accusations are not facts…how quick we are to condemn an amazing man because of what someone says…what about his denial of these horrible accusations, do they not have weight? I know Russell to be an amazing upstanding man period."

In case you've been sleeping under a rock... Russell has been accused of sexual harassment and/or assault by at least nine women in recent months. Pretty horrifying stuff.

So why was Eva Marcille so quick to defend Uncle Rush?

Well according to, Michael Sterling (Eva's fiancé father of her unborn child), is one of the attorneys representing the mogul in increasingly alarming sexual assault case.

His ex-wife Kimora had an interesting  reaction to all this, by the way.

“Kimora is not surprised over the slew of sexual assault allegations against her ex Russell,” a source dished to

“Kimora can’t help but feel relieved that she left him when she did and she is glad that Russell is no longer her problem. Trust became a real issue in their relationship and when she began to question his integrity, it was the beginning of the end of their relationship.”

“When she no longer felt they were communicating in a healthy way, Kimora lost faith in their marriage too and began to fall out of love. She had no idea what Russell was up to when they were not together towards the end of their marriage. It hurts Kimora to think that Russell may have been harassing other women while they were still married. The new accusations are only reinforcing the tough decisions she made years ago.”

Model Keri Claussen Khalighi first accused him of sexual assault, though he has since denied this. Jenny Lumet followed suit, accusing the man of assaulting her, as well, in a piece penned on November 30. HBO soon announced that they were removing Russell’s name/likeness form his stand-up comedy specials, effective on December 1.

Several other women have come forward claiming they were sexually harassed, assaulted and/or raped by Russell including Actress Amanda Seales .
Russell, however, remains adamant that he is completely innocent.

Yeah; because he has such stellar insight on such matters
