Eminem's Daughter Hailie Is Grown Now As She Speaks On Relationship With Dad In Rare Interview — Photos

Eminem’s daughter Hailie Scott recently talked about the ‘close’ relationship she has with him for the first time…and she had nothing but nice things to say.

“Of course, we are very close,” she told the Daily Mail, when asked if she got along with her dad.

There has been plenty of speculation about whether or not Eminem’s only biological child had a bond with him throughout the years, thanks to his tumultuous relationship with Kim Scott, Hailie’s mom and Em’s ex.

So, it’s lovely to know that things are fine and dandy.

Beyond that, she seems to be happy. She recently graduated from Michigan State University and now lives in her own house in Detroit, not far from her mom or where she grew up.

She also revealed that she often visits her mother and step-siblings whenever she can. As far as her future goes, she is still figuring out what she wants to do with her life but she’d like to use her popular status on social media to influence others.

Eminem and Kim met as teenagers in high school and dated off-and-on. They married in 1999, four years after Hailie was born, but quickly divorced in 2001. The pair swapped “I Do”s again in 2006, but called it quits a second time, before reconciling (and later splitting) in 2010.

Long ago, a source opened up about how Em felt about Hailie.

"Eminem is really proud of Hailie, she’s the very best of him and Kim [Mathers]. Hailie is smart, popular, motivated, kind, and really down-to-earth."

"Eminem was determined that his daughter would be raised out of the spotlight, as the last thing he wanted was a ‘showbiz kid,’ and he really did a good job."

"Considering the problems that both her mom and dad have had, she’s incredibly well balanced. Hailie is really committed to her studies, she works really hard, and she has a great head on her shoulders."

Hailie did grab headlines in 2014, when she graduated from Chippewa High School with over a 3.9 GPA. Hailie reportedly participated in the National Honor Society, Art Club, Key Club, Volleyball and Student Council, even receiving the Academic Excellence Award and Department of Psychology Award.

She had thanked her parents in her graduation speech, saying that they had "pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."

That’s nice. Glad that she seems to be flourishing.

What a beautiful young woman Hailie Jade Scott grew up to be.
