A source reportedly told the site, "It was terrifying, and rocked Bobby to the core. It really looked like the end!"

The report claimed that Bobby was at home alone when he collapsed on Dec. 19, and then drove himself to a medical center near his Tarzana, Calif., home.

A family source told Radar, "Bobby was minutes from death! Doctors said he had just over one liter of blood left in his system. It’s a miracle Bobby didn’t die. He hasn’t come to terms with losing his baby girl, Bobbi, and we thought this could be the final straw!”

Bobby was said to have been given a blood transfusion and was released after being hospitalized for two days.

Doctors were said to have told Bobby his intestines had began exploding.

Fans were unsure what to believe about the story, especially after Bobby's struggle with addiction in the past. However, Brown has come forward to debunk these rumors about his health.

Bobby spoke with People magazine about the rumors, stating, "People make up a lot of different stories about me. But, as you can see, I’m fine, and handsome, and healthy. Look at me. I’m happy as a lark.”

Brown has released a memoir following the sudden death of his daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobby's book is Every Little Step, which is the name of his 1990 Grammy award-winning hit song, was released in June, 2016.

“Right after I signed on to write my story, I went through one of the most agonizing traumas I had ever experienced with the death of my daughter,” he told Billboard about the book in October, 2015.

“But I was surprised by how therapeutic it was to work on this project, to look at the entire arc of my life and to realize that although there has been considerable pain, I have also been incredibly blessed.”
