Azealia Banks Addresses Drama With Cardi B On Instagram And Defends Her Shady Criticism Of The "Bodak Yellow" Femcee

Do you think these two ladies will ever make peace?

Azealia Banks obviously loves getting into social media feuds with fellow artists and was determined to have the last word in her beef with Cardi B.

Azealia went on the attack during her interview on "The Breakfast Club" last week, referring to Cardi B as a "caricature of a black woman" and an "illiterate, untalented rat."

During her radio interview, Banks praised Beyoncé for her Lemonade album from two years ago.

She stated, "There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B."

Banks went on to insult the "Bodak Yellow" rapper's intelligence.

She said, "I’m just talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with. Like, if my spelling and grammar was that bad, I’d be canceled. If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, we would be ragging on her all day."

Cardi B caught wind of Banks' hateful remarks and took to Instagram to defend herself.

Cardi explained that she is "from the hood" and that's the way she speaks. She went on to state that she never wanted to be a role model and doesn't want to change the person she is just because she's famous.

Cardi hit back at Azealia, writing, "This coming from a woman that bleached her skin but wants to be an advocate? Goodbye. I’m not apologizing or killing myself because of who I am."

Azealia then went on to blast Cardi by writing, "You’re illiterate, you’re baby mama 4/5 to [a] man who has women crawling out of the woodworks with kids."

Banks was referring to Cardi's fiance, Offset, who has three children from previous relationships.

Banks adds, "You’re a real life episode of Maury sis. … The fact that your overall statistic-ness is being merited as success is a clear indication that the suits backing you are using you as a weapon against black women’s consciousness and culture."

Cardi responded by writing, "Pray for your own success before you pray for the downfall of others."

The "I Like It" rapper then deleted her Instagram account entirely.

Banks, who has obviously nothing else better to do than be a troll, then took to Instagram to continue to address the subject.

She wrote on Instagram, "Speaking one's mind doesn't equal activism.  When I speak on anything it is purely to open the discussion for people who may or may not be thinking the same things. The concept of me 'attacking' other women is a hard one to process because it's subjective and purely an analysis of what YOU see."

Azealia adds, "When I ignite these discussions surrounding black cultural affairs, it's to make sure that the things we are consuming and validating are acceptable and worthy of inclusion into our culture, psyche, and lifestyles."

We'll sure Banks will have more to say or another person to feud with very shortly.
