Here's Why ‘Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ Star Tommie Lee Is Facing Over 50 Years Behind Bars

One of Love & Hip Hop's most notable personalities in recent years might be going to away for a very long time.

Back in October, Tommie Lee was arrested twice in 24 hours. The first time was for allegedly abusing her 14-year-old daughter.

Tommie reportedly went to her young daughter's middle school and pulled her out of class to clown her. While in the hallway, the fiery reality star smacked her daughter's hands with her purse strap before she reportedly slapped her across the face, dragged her by her hair down the hall and slammed her into a metal locker. 

She got released from Jail on October 7th, but was then rearrested AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY because her arrest were a violation of her 2016 DUI case. 

After spending two months behind bars, Tommie was released in December but it looks like her freedom will only be temporary. 

According to TMZ, Lee will face seven charges of child abuse including 3 being felonies for that aforementioned October 2018 incident. 

If she's convicted on all seven charges, she faces a maximum sentence of 54 years in jail. 

Tommie Lee is known for being unspoken and which led to altercations with her fellow castmates on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

As she faces 54 years behind bars, Tommie Lee reportedly announced she will be quitting the popular VH1 reality tv Franchise.

Guess who's back?

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Tommie Lee is officially a free woman... once again.

The fiery reality star was apprehended by authorities in October for violating a court order that to not have any contact with her oldest daughter.

Confused? Well, 24 hours earlier, Tommie was arrested for for allegedly slamming her child’s head into a locker at her middle school. Lee was charged with aggravated assault, simple battery, first-degree child cruelty and disruption of public schools.

She got released from Jail on Nov. 7, but was then rearrested AGAIN ON THE SAME DAY for because her arrests were a violation of her 2016 DUI case. 

After spending two months behind bars, she's back home and working on new music. After her release, Tommie went on an appreciation spree – thanking friends, family, and supporters.

In a new video on Twitter, Lee said: "I just want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me, wrote me, sent me money that I did or didn't need. Everybody who's supported me on social media."
